DSI Continues to Expand with the Addition of Three Industry All-stars
New Hires Reinforce the Firm’s Continued Focus on Adaptive Strategy Consulting
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA., SEPTEMBER 18, 2012 – DSI, a leading future-centered consulting firm, today announced the continued expansion of its Strategy Team with the addition of three leading professionals. The new hires are part of DSI’s continued commitment to further improve and expand the quality and reach of its consulting services. Specific hires include:
- Mike Hoherchak: Principal, Consumer Products and Related Industries, Stamford, CT
- Vivek Kumar: Consultant, Life Sciences Practice, Conshohocken, PA
- Matt Acconciamessa: Associate, Life Sciences Practice, Conshohocken, PA

Hoherchak brings more than 25 years of industry and consulting expertise to the team. Prior to joining DSI, he served as the President of Phoenix Insights, a strategy consulting firm focused on new product and business planning. Previously, Hoherchak also worked as a senior Project Manager at Mars & Co. He began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Hoherchak holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard University. As Principal and Consumer Products and Related Industries Practice Group lead, he will be fostering client relationships, building client strategy and further developing the Practice Group.
Kumar has extensive consulting experience across a variety of industries. Before DSI, Kumar served as a Management Associate at Synthes, a manufacturer and distributor of orthopedic implant medical devices. Prior to Synthes he worked for Carl S. Sloane and Lockheed Martin Corporation. Kumar earned his B.S. and Master of Engineering in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University as well as an MBA from Harvard University. In his new role, Kumar will harness the skills he’s developed over the past eight years to help DSI clients further improve their strategy and focus.
Acconciamessa brings strong analytical abilities and an academic background of public policy to DSI. Prior to joining the DSI team on a full-time basis, he was a summer intern and subcontractor at the Conshohocken office. He graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School as a member of the Joseph Wharton Scholars program. Acconciamessa will provide substantive research along with in-depth data and market analysis to support project delivery and business development
