Viraj Narayanan is a Consultant in the Philadelphia office of DSI. He approaches his client engagements with an infectious intellectual curiosity. He loves how the work relates to the fascinating world of behavioral economics — “It’s endlessly interesting, how we all constantly deviate from the assumptions made by standard economic models.”
With deep analytical and empirical skills, Viraj excels at managing the delivery of client projects including the planning, analysis, execution, and closing of engagements. He embraces his role as an opportunity to work on cutting-edge issues with the world’s most successful organizations. Clients he has served include GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol-Myers Squibb, AstraZeneca, ADP, Marathon Oil, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and several branches of the U.S. Navy. Viraj’s previous professional experience includes managing operations and data support for a real estate company and interning in the research department of a bio-tech firm.
Viraj holds a BS in Decision Science from the Carnegie Mellon University. He has worked on project research in the Center for Behavioral Decision Research, Emotion and Decision Making Laboratory, the Institute for Cognitive Science Research at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Operations, Processes and Information Management department at the Wharton School.
